Belfast Met Space Camp

Last week saw the launch of the Belfast Met’s Space Camp which is taking place over two weeks from July 25th to August 5th. The Space Camp will be primarily located at Belfast Met’s new Titanic Quarter campus, as well as other special destinations such as our Resonate Testing facilities.

Participants will be able to undertake a mock-up of our ‘Shake, Rattle and Roll’ competition at our facilities (3rd & 4th of August), which we are launching for schools and colleges in the next few months.

We hope all participants have an enjoyable and informative time!

The facility includes a combined vibration and environmental laboratory (the only commercial facility on the Island of Ireland that can perform combined temperature and vibration testing up to 54kN), a fire test laboratory and a general mechanical test facility.
