ISO 17025 Update

We’re delighted that following the UKAS audit of our fire procedures, covering aircraft power plant, seat burn, and cargo liner requirements, we have now been granted ISO 17025 Testing Certification for Fire Testing, adding to our test certification for Flammability, Vibration and Shock Test Types.

Whilst updating our literature and website, we will be using the ILAC MRA Mark in conjunction with the UKAS symbol.

ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation) is the international authority on laboratory and inspection body accreditation, with a membership consisting of accreditation bodies and stakeholder organisations throughout the world.  UKAS (the United Kingdom Accreditation Service) is one of 90 accreditation bodies that have signed the ILAC Arrangement to promote the acceptance of accredited test, calibration and inspection data and results; and is the sole national accreditation body recognised by UK government.

The facility includes a combined vibration and environmental laboratory (the only commercial facility on the Island of Ireland that can perform combined temperature and vibration testing up to 54kN), a fire test laboratory and a general mechanical test facility.
