What is altitude testing?

RTCA DO-160, MIL-STD-810, IEC 60068 and customer specifications: Why standards matter

Altitude testing is usually tailored to the product, operating environment and compliance route. Requirements may reference RTCA DO-160 Section 4, MIL-STD-810 low pressure methods, IEC/EN 60068 temperature-altitude tests, UN 38.3 battery transport testing or a customer-defined profile.
